New! Exercise Physiology in Annerley

From late January, I’ll be offering exercise physiology in Annerley, on Eric Crescent.

I’m excited to share space with the osteopaths at Osteofit and Balance Osteopathy. And the relaxed studio environment has more options for exercises and programs. All very cool!

You can book online for the Annerley location here.

What does exercise physiology help me with?

Our programs focus on joint and muscle health, and provide support for other health conditions. They can address a variety of issues, including:

  • Long-standing joint pain, whether due to old injury, arthritis, or just lack of use
  • Poor movement ability that can keep you from activities you’d like to do
  • Muscle imbalances and compensation patterns that can increase injury risk
  • Late-stage rehab for subacute or chronic injuries
  • Other musculoskeletal concerns such as recurring injury, postural health, or lower back pain
  • Adjunct management of other chronic health conditions

Exercise is good for just about everything, as long as it’s the right exercise. (And it’s absolutely true that the wrong exercise can make many things worse!) That’s where getting some outside help comes in!

What you get with a program

Whether it’s your first session or you’re coming in for a review and update, each program comes with:

  • Exercise demonstrations, via video through the Physitrack app
  • A PDF printout of your workout
  • A weekly planner of what exercises to do when
  • Regular check-ins to keep you on track and accountable
  • If needed, other resources to help improve lifestyle health habits

One of the coolest things about our bodies is the never-ending capacity to adapt and improve. With the right catalyst and motivation, you can make significant changes. It doesn’t necessarily take long, either.
